Aquí vamos a hablar de las jergas (slang words) de algunos paises latinos.

Aunque es muy importante aprender la lengua educativa... muchas veces es importante también saber las palabras especiales de cada país - o la "jerga."

What would our everyday speech be like if we didn't use any slang words? Would it be the same or would it be vastly different? Do slang words have the same meaning in every part of the English-speaking world? Let's take a look at (school appropriate!) slang in both our country and a few Spanish-speaking countries.

We will be using what we learn on this wiki to improve our vocabulary base so that we can speak muy fluidly! We will be doing several speaking activities in class in addition to our particular task for this wiki (see below).

Tu tarea:

En grupos de 5, vais a crear un cuento usando la jerga de un país hispano. Hay 4 paises latinos en nuestra lista. Tu grupo elegirá un país. Cada persona en tu grupo tiene que agregar jergas de su país en su página. Todos van a agregar jergas de los EE.UU. Vais a compartir vuestros cuentos con la clase y discutir las jergas. ¡Es importante ser creativos con vuestros cuentos!
